Community Outreach

The Manchester Community Church is active in the community.  One half of the profits of our fundraising suppers address local needs.  Dinners are prepared and delivered at Thanksgiving and Christmas upon request (use the contact us to communicate a need).  

 

In addition to the dinners, in December and June bags of food are delivered to the Manchester Elementary School Nurse to distribute.  This food will enable children to "help themselves" to something to eat while on school break. 

 

Additional church charitable efforts are continually underway by the deacons and the Christian Outreach/mission committees in cooperation with other organizations.  For example a donation was made in order to complete the purchase of a sufficient number of wreaths to be placed on all veterans' graves at the Augusta Veterans' Cemetery, in collaboration with the Manchester Lions Club and the "Wreaths Across America" Program.
