Donations for Ukraine due today. A member of our church has generously offered a matching donation up to $1000 for every dollar donated by our church to aid the suffering and displaced of people of war-torn Ukraine. The funds raised will be donated by the church to “World Vision” and specifically dedicated to its ongoing work of delivering humanitarian aid to the children and families of Ukraine.

 

BBB (Bible Bread & Broth) Supper April 8 at 5:30 P.M. If you plan to attend sign up on the bulletin board ASAP in Johnson Hall.

 

Spring Clean-up is Saturday April 9th starting at 8 a.m.  If you can help, please come on down!   Many hands lighten the load”

 

Palm Sunday April 10 commemorates the entrance of Christ into Jerusalem, when palm branches were placed in his path, before his arrest on Holy Thursday and his crucifixion on Good Friday. It thus marks the beginning of Holy Week, the final week of Lent.

 

The Ladies Group meets on April 14 at 12 noon.  Bring a bag lunch, drink & dessert will be provided. We will be making cards. 

 

Easter Sunday “Christ Arose” April 17.  Please let Deanna know if you are putting a plant on the altar in memory of a loved one.

 

Easter Sunday is the official day for receiving New Members into the Church.  Anyone that would like to become a member of the church please let Pastor Alec or Pastor Don know.                      

 

Our first dine-in Baked Bean Supper April 23 from 4 to 6 P.M.  Baked Beans, hot dogs, biscuits, coleslaw, casseroles, salads & homemade pies.  We hope to see you all there. 

 

Scholarship Committee is accepting High School Senior Graduates’ names of children or grandchildren of MCC Members. Give names to Arlene (207-485-4630) & a packet will be sent out.
