L. Dunn 1944 – 1946 Ernest Harvey 1944 During the early 1900s the church fell on hard times & abandoned in 1937. In 1944 Rev. Ernest Harvey led the way to the reopening of the church with 17 people gathered to worship God midst fallen plaster, broken laths & 58 broken panes of glass. The church was rededicated in November 1944 as the Union Church of Manchester & in 1957 the name was changed to Manchester Community Church. The Church was built in 1833 under the inspiration of Rev. Isaac Case w/early town meetings being held in the church. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
